I need to get either Radiation Field (Asuran) or Ether Nightmare (Kurzick). I've finished Closer to the stars in Factions and gotten to Gunnars hold in EoTN. Which would be faster to get/rank up so that I can use it decently?

Ether Nightmare would be easier to get, imo, just requires like 3000 faction and allegiance (1), no problem, but getting it to a high rank can be a bitch, whereas in your current situation getting radiation field could take some work in EotN but it's a hell of a lot easier to rank up.

Radiation Field would be the best to go for imo.

The desease on top of the degen gives it a better overall damage output.

No repetative faction farming needed to get a decent level.

Going through Asura primary quests will get you to about level 5 and also leads to other good Asuran skills as well.

Kerrsh's quests at Tarnished Haven in Asura lands will also give you Pain Inverter and a pretty-good staff for your casters.
